  • A striking design of Lady Liberty striding forward, holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other, with rays of sunlight radiating behind her.
  • From 1907 to 1911, the obverse displays 46 stars, representing the states of the union. From 1912 to 1933, two additional stars were added to signify New Mexico and Arizona’s statehood, bringing the total to 48 stars.
• Reverse:
  • A majestic flying eagle soaring above the rising sun, with the words “United States of America” and “Twenty Dollars” inscribed.
