  • Features Lady Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed with “LIBERTY,” surrounded by 13 stars representing the original colonies. The coin’s year of mintage is prominently displayed. This beautiful design is the work of Christian Gobrecht, the third Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.
• Reverse:
  • Depicts the iconic American bald eagle holding arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing strength and peace. The eagle’s chest is adorned with a liberty shield, representing protection and unity. The inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “TEN D.” The reverse also prominently features the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” on a banner above the eagle, distinguishing it from earlier versions with “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
